Senior Citizen's Group Fundraiser

Tony Thomas and Judy Carson will be entertaining at the Norris Community Center in Norris, TN from 6:00pm to 8:00pm for the Senior Citizen's Group's annual Fundraiser and Chili Cook-off. The tickets for this event will be $15.00 per person and the proceeds will benefit the Senior Citizen's Group. Please come enjoy some good chili and good music while helping a great cause. Boyhood Memories CoverBoyhood Memories This autobiographical book is now available. If you know Tony or have seen him perform you have no doubt heard some of the stories of his life. He has finally committed them to paper! In this book Tony shares his cherished memories of his childhood days growing up in the coal mining community of Briceville TN. The book contains true stories of mischief, adventure and most importantly family life set in the hills and hollows around his boyhood home. Also included are some songs he has written about family members along with some recipes from a cookbook he wrote with his mother-in-law, Viola Cox. This is truly entertaining reading.

The cost of the book is $15 with shipping & handling included. The book can also be purchased at the Historic Rugby's Commissary, the Museum of Appalachia's Gift shop and the Rock Top General Store in Harriman.
